For my Project 2 I will be doing Swiss Style Desing Movement wiss Style, also known as International Typographic Style, emerged in Switzerland in the 1950s. It's characterized by a clean, minimalist design with a focus on readability, clarity, and objectivity. Key features include the use of grid-based layouts, sans-serif typefaces, asymmetrical compositions, and a preference for photography over illustration. This movement greatly influenced graphic design globally, emphasizing precision, simplicity, and the use of typography as a powerful visual element. Key elements of Swiss Style: Grid Systems: Structured layouts based on grids that organize content in a clear and systematic way. Typography: The use of sans-serif typefaces, often in a clean and legible manner, with a focus on readability and information hierarchy. Minimalism: Emphasis on minimalistic design principles, such as clean lines, simple shapes, and limited color palettes. Hierarchy and Information: Clear organization of information through visual hierarchy, allowing for easy navigation and comprehension. Asymmetrical Layouts: The use of asymmetry within a grid structure to create dynamic and balanced designs.
